Parameter Estimation of a Single-Phase Boost PFC Converter with EMI Filter Based on an Optimization Algorithm

This paper proposes an approach to estimate the parameters of AC–DC boost power factor corrector converter that includes EMI filter. To this end, once topology was known, values passive elements were identified from measurements at input and output terminals converter. The based on trust region nonlinear least squares algorithm. steady-state transient signals input/output acquired non-intrusively without any internal modification circuitry. accuracy proposed parameter identification determined by comparing estimated with those provided manufacturer, measured obtained a simulation model included parameters. results presented in prove approach, which can be extended other converters filters.
